A top price for Huang Leisheng - as previously expected
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Overnight Rain In The Mountains by Huang Leisheng. The price achieved of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 41,559.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Overnight Rain In The Mountains is the most expensive artwork by Huang Leisheng that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Overnight Rain In The Mountains von Huang Leisheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 41.559,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Overnight Rain In The Mountains das teuerste Kunstwerk von Huang Leisheng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
