It achieved a price of HKD 7,080.00 (€ 773.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Leisheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Overnight Rain In The Mountains in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 41,559.34).

Die Arbeit Flowers And Birds von Huang Leisheng wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 bei POLY versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 7.080,00 (€ 773,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Leisheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Overnight Rain In The Mountains im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 41.559,34).
