This artwork by Huang Jun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Villa Amidst Bamboo and Clouds sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,533.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Jun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Scenery By The Shore, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Jun erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Villa Amidst Bamboo and Clouds für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.533,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Jun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Scenery By The Shore beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.324,87) versteigert wurde.
