This artwork by Huang Jun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Autumn Scenery By The Shore sold for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. This high result makes Autumn Scenery By The Shore the most expensive artwork by Huang Jun that we have observed at auctions so far.
