Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Imperial Concubine After Her Bath by Huang Jun was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in London in June this year. The price achieved of HKD 6,400.00 (€ 747.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Scenery By The Shore in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87).

Die Arbeit Imperial Concubine After Her Bath von Huang Jun wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.400,00 (€ 747,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Scenery By The Shore im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.324,87).
