In April 2018 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Painting After Qiu Ying by Huang Jun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,300.00 (€ 10,583.25), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Huang Jun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Scenery By The Shore in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Painting After Qiu Ying von Huang Jun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.300,00 (€ 10.583,25) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Jun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery By The Shore im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.324,87).
