It achieved a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,566.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Admittedly, works by Huang Jun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Scenery By The Shore in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87).

Die Arbeit Landscape After Wen Boren von Huang Jun wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.566,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Jun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery By The Shore im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.324,87).
