Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
When the work Ink Dragons by Huang Jun was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 15,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 70,800.00 (€ 7,470.53). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Scenery By The Shore in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Ink Dragons von Huang Jun im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 15.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 70.800,00 (€ 7.470,53) mehr als viermal so hoch. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Scenery By The Shore im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.324,87).
