Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Essay In Cursive Script by Huang Daozhou was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. The price achieved of USD 60,000.00 (€ 53,753.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Daozhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collection of Poems in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 42,935,000.00 (€ 4,979,665.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Essay In Cursive Script von Huang Daozhou kam im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 53.753,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Daozhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collection of Poems im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.935.000,00 (€ 4.979.665,12).
