Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy by Huang Daozhou. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 144,976.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Daozhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collection of Poems in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 42,935,000.00 (€ 4,979,665.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Huang Daozhou zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 144.976,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Daozhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collection of Poems im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.935.000,00 (€ 4.979.665,12).
