Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Running-Cursive Script by Huang Daozhou was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 92,990.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Daozhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collection of Poems in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 42,935,000.00 (€ 4,979,665.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running-Cursive Script von Huang Daozhou wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 92.990,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Daozhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collection of Poems im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.935.000,00 (€ 4.979.665,12).
