Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu by Hu Shu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,151.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Shu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 72,231.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu von Hu Shu wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.151,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Shu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 72.231,68).
