A top price for Hu Shanyu
The work Portrait of a University Student by Hu Shanyu was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 950,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,080,000.00 (€ 130,605.60). With this result, Portrait of a University Student is even the most expensive work of art by Hu Shanyu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Hu Shanyu
Die Arbeit Portrait of a University Student von Hu Shanyu wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 950.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.080.000,00 (€ 130.605,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Portrait of a University Student sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hu Shanyu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
