Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Overlook From Coal Hill by Hu Shanyu was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 224,200.00 (€ 25,439.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 185,000.00 – 285,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Shanyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a University Student in October this year with an auction result of HKD 1,080,000.00 (€ 130,605.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Overlook From Coal Hill von Hu Shanyu kam im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 224.200,00 (€ 25.439,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 185.000,00 – 285.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Shanyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a University Student im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.080.000,00 (€ 130.605,60).
