The work OVERLORD by Hsu Tung-Lung was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,956.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hsu Tung-Lung; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot THE MERCY BUDDHA sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 83,776.47).

Die Arbeit OVERLORD von Hsu Tung-Lung kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.956,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hsu Tung-Lung; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit THE MERCY BUDDHA im November 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 83.776,47).
