Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sole Viola (Painted In 1966) by Hsiao Chin was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 66,000.00 (€ 67,398.91). Admittedly, works by Hsiao Chin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue in April this year with an auction result of HKD 372,000.00 (€ 379,884.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sole Viola (Painted In 1966) von Hsiao Chin wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 66.000,00 (€ 67.398,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hsiao Chin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 372.000,00 (€ 379.884,78).
