Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il Giardino Eterno - 38 (The Eternal Garden - 38) by Hsiao Chin was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 22,178.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsiao Chin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue in April this year with an auction result of HKD 372,000.00 (€ 379,884.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il Giardino Eterno - 38 (The Eternal Garden - 38) von Hsiao Chin wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 22.178,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsiao Chin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 372.000,00 (€ 379.884,78).
