Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Enormità nell'infinito (Enormity in Infinity) by Hsiao Chin was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 567,000.00 (€ 66,534.65). Admittedly, works by Hsiao Chin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue in April this year with an auction result of HKD 372,000.00 (€ 379,884.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Enormità nell'infinito (Enormity in Infinity) von Hsiao Chin wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 550.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 567.000,00 (€ 66.534,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hsiao Chin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 372.000,00 (€ 379.884,78).
