Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Hsiao Chin was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,640.00 (€ 5,707.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsiao Chin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue in April this year with an auction result of HKD 372,000.00 (€ 379,884.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Hsiao Chin wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.640,00 (€ 5.707,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsiao Chin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 372.000,00 (€ 379.884,78).
