The work Vote by Hsia Yan was sold in the Chinese 20th CenturyArt auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 427,500.00 (€ 37,371.32), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hsia Yan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pedestrian At Soho No.5, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 850,000.00 (€ 100,330.43).

Die Arbeit Vote von Hsia Yan wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Chinese 20th CenturyArt bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 427.500,00 (€ 37.371,32) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hsia Yan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pedestrian At Soho No.5 beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 850.000,00 (€ 100.330,43) versteigert wurde.
