Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Portrait Of Wu Ying Er by Hsia Yan. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,667.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsia Yan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pedestrian At Soho No.5 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 850,000.00 (€ 100,330.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Wu Ying Er von Hsia Yan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.667,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsia Yan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pedestrian At Soho No.5 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 850.000,00 (€ 100.330,43).
