Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work City Birds #8 by Hsia Yan. The price achieved of HKD 649,000.00 (€ 73,639.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 550,000.00 – 850,000.00. Other works by Hsia Yan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2017 the work Pedestrian At Soho No.5 was auctioned for HKD 850,000.00 (€ 100,330.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit City Birds #8 von Hsia Yan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 649.000,00 (€ 73.639,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 550.000,00 – 850.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hsia Yan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2017 die Arbeit Pedestrian At Soho No.5 für HKD 850.000,00 (€ 100.330,43) versteigert.
