Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Indian Ponies by Howard Post for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,666.88). This price was achieved in the auction American Art Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Howard Post have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2021 by the work Waterhole Below the Buttes at USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,184.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
