In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work Fall Weather by Howard Post. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,480.00 (€ 4,107.08), 49% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Howard Post - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waterhole Below the Buttes, which sold at auction in August 2021 for USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,184.32).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fall Weather von Howard Post zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.480,00 (€ 4.107,08) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Howard Post mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waterhole Below the Buttes beobachtet, die im August 2021 für USD 10.837,50 (€ 9.184,32) versteigert wurde.
