Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Untitled (Torso) by Howard Hancock Newman. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,085.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Howard Hancock Newman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Violinist was auctioned for USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,218.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Torso) von Howard Hancock Newman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.085,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Howard Hancock Newman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Violinist für USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.218,25) versteigert.
