Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 2020 by Houston Maludi was sold in the A Moroccan Spring auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in May 2021. The price achieved of MAD 41,600.00 (€ 3,650.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 33,000.00 – 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by Houston Maludi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Non Localité, 2019 in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 14,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2020 von Houston Maludi wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion A Moroccan Spring bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 41.600,00 (€ 3.650,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 33.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Houston Maludi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Non Localité, 2019 im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.950,00.
