Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bus Station, 2020 by Houston Maludi was sold in the African Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,149.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Houston Maludi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Non Localité, 2019 in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 14,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bus Station, 2020 von Houston Maludi wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion African Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.149,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Houston Maludi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Non Localité, 2019 im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.950,00.
