Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Horst Egon Kalinowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in May 2021. In the Daniel Cordier, Collection privée auction, the work L'Éventail De Jais sold for EUR 3,276.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Horst Egon Kalinowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Pour un rite d'initiation“., which sold at auction in November 2013 for EUR 7,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Horst Egon Kalinowski erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Daniel Cordier, Collection privée wurde die Arbeit L'Éventail De Jais für EUR 3.276,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Horst Egon Kalinowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Pour un rite d'initiation“. beobachtet, die im November 2013 für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert wurde.
