In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Man With Pot); Untitled (Man With Hookah); Untitled (Woman); Untitled (Man Praying); Untitled (Man Writing) sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,378.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Horace van Ruith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (A Brahmin Household) in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 384,500.00 (€ 359,412.97).
