Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Flowers Painted In Bombay) by Horace van Ruith was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,946.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Horace van Ruith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (A Brahmin Household) in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 384,500.00 (€ 359,412.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Flowers Painted In Bombay) von Horace van Ruith kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.946,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Horace van Ruith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (A Brahmin Household) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 384.500,00 (€ 359.412,97).
