A top price for Hopare
The work Yiruma by Hopare was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art and Design Day Sale in association with Phillips auction at POLY in Hong Kong in June 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 693,000.00 (€ 75,277.77), 54% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Yiruma the most expensive artwork by Hopare that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Yiruma von Hopare wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art and Design Day Sale in association with Phillips bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 75.277,77) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Yiruma zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Hopare, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
