Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Summit Lotus by Hongren was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000,001.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 22,880,000.00 (€ 2,672,994.02). Admittedly, works by Hongren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes And Calligraphies in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 128,456,000.00 (€ 13,753,227.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Summit Lotus von Hongren wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000.001,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 22.880.000,00 (€ 2.672.994,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hongren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes And Calligraphies im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 128.456.000,00 (€ 13.753.227,60).
