The work Mount Lianhua by Hongren was worth HKD 4,543,750.00 (€ 457,725.95) to a buyer in October 2004. This price was achieved in the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 1,500,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hongren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes And Calligraphies in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 128,456,000.00 (€ 13,753,227.60).

Die Arbeit Mount Lianhua von Hongren war einem Käufer im Oktober 2004 HKD 4.543.750,00 (€ 457.725,95) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.500.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hongren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes And Calligraphies im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 128.456.000,00 (€ 13.753.227,60).
