Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape by Hong Ren was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 9,642.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Ren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape along the River in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,927,500.00 (€ 168,498.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Hong Ren wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 9.642,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Ren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape along the River im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.927.500,00 (€ 168.498,77).
