Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village Within Old Trees(Painted In 1989) by Hong Ling was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 531,000.00 (€ 60,633.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hong Ling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Late Autumn in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 444,574.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Village Within Old Trees(Painted In 1989) von Hong Ling wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 531.000,00 (€ 60.633,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Ling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Late Autumn im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 444.574,89).
