The work Smoke And Wave by Hong Ling was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,248.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Ling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Late Autumn in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 444,574.89).

Die Arbeit Smoke And Wave von Hong Ling kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.248,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Ling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Late Autumn im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 444.574,89).
