A top price for Hong Liangji - as previously expected
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script by Hong Liangji. It changed hands for a price of HKD 92,040.00 (€ 10,130.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script is the most expensive artwork by Hong Liangji that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script von Hong Liangji zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 92.040,00 (€ 10.130,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hong Liangji, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
