Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Seal Script by Hong Liangji. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,728.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Hong Liangji have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2017 the work Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script was auctioned for HKD 92,040.00 (€ 10,130.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script von Hong Liangji zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.728,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hong Liangji konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2017 die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script für HKD 92.040,00 (€ 10.130,09) versteigert.
