In the All That Is Glorious Around Us: Property from an Important American Collector auction, the work Autumnal Scene sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,268.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Homer Dodge Martin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Low Tide, Villerville sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,823.61).
