Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Holger Drachmann could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Seascape with sailing ships on the Sound changed hands for DKK 26,000.00 (€ 3,487.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Holger Drachmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse), which sold at auction in September this year for DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,384.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Holger Drachmann konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Seascape with sailing ships on the Sound für DKK 26.000,00 (€ 3.487,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Holger Drachmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.384,92) versteigert wurde.
