Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work A view from the coast of Hornbæk by Holger Drachmann. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,609.84), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Holger Drachmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) in September this year with an auction result of DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,384.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view from the coast of Hornbæk von Holger Drachmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.609,84) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Holger Drachmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.384,92).
