Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work 64.8.10 B by Hisashi Indo was sold in the Contemporary Art| London auction at Sothebys in London in August 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,048.00 (€ 6,777.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hisashi Indo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Work 64.11.27A in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,635.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work 64.8.10 B von Hisashi Indo wurde im August 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art| London bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.048,00 (€ 6.777,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hisashi Indo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Work 64.11.27A im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.635,83).
