In the Asobi: Ingenious Creativity, Japanese Works of Art from Antiquity to Contemporary auction, the work 1962 - 64 changed hands for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,152.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Hisashi Indo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2016 by the work Work 64.11.27A at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,635.83).
