This artwork by Hiroshi Sugito achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale auction, the work Victory sold for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,958.89) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 32,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiroshi Sugito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Lounge in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 216,000.00 (€ 160,558.98).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hiroshi Sugito erzielte im November 2019 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Victory für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.958,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 32.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiroshi Sugito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Lounge im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 216.000,00 (€ 160.558,98).
