Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics, which included the work Femme Nue Debout by Hippolyte Petitjean. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,857.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hippolyte Petitjean have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme Au Bord Du Lac in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,275.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme Nue Debout von Hippolyte Petitjean zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.857,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hippolyte Petitjean auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femme Au Bord Du Lac im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.275,67).
