The work Bed Room 16-S by Hilo Chen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,284.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hilo Chen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beach 96 in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 107,100.00.

Die Arbeit Bed Room 16-S von Hilo Chen kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.284,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hilo Chen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beach 96 im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 107.100,00.
