In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and Early British Paintings, which included the work A Swag Of Flowers, Including Roses And Morning Glory by Hieronymus Galle I. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,746.41), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hieronymus Galle I have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, Peonies, Poppies, Carnations, Guelder Roses And Other Flowers In A Sculpted Terracotta Vase On A Stone Ledge in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 87,999.01).

Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and Early British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Swag Of Flowers, Including Roses And Morning Glory von Hieronymus Galle I zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.746,41) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hieronymus Galle I auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses, Peonies, Poppies, Carnations, Guelder Roses And Other Flowers In A Sculpted Terracotta Vase On A Stone Ledge im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 87.999,01).
