Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Meet at the inn by Heywood Hardy was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,914.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Heywood Hardy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Drawing Covert in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 140,348.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Meet at the inn von Heywood Hardy kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.914,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Heywood Hardy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Drawing Covert im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 140.348,60).
