Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish Gitana Con Niño (Gypsy And Child) by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2014. The price achieved of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 188,594.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Casino de París in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 2,924,000.00.

Die Arbeit Spanish Gitana Con Niño (Gypsy And Child) von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa kam im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 188.594,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El Casino de París im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.924.000,00.
