Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish fiesta Valenciana (Valencian Fiesta) by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 254,500.00 (€ 297,550.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Casino de París in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 2,924,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish fiesta Valenciana (Valencian Fiesta) von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 254.500,00 (€ 297.550,24) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Casino de París im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.924.000,00.
